In fact, the artisanal bakers have been busy getting the District’s first “CSP” up and running. Community Supported Pies, that is. Yes, you read that correctly, an all-dessert CSA. In addition to classic pies, subscribers have regular access to delicious experimental concoctions like bourbon butternut squash, kickin’ buffalo chicken or chocolate chipotle cream pies – flavors that will push the envelope a bit and are more daring. Daring enough to get them nominated for the City Paper’s “Best of 2011″ poll, in fact….
